REV. CURT MINER

Curt was born in Jan of 1955 in Waterbury CT. The family moved to Phoenix AZ in 1962, where Curt grew up, attending and obtaining his degree in theatre at Northern Arizona University in 1976. Having sensed a call to ministry earlier in his life, Curt and his young family went off to attend seminary in Berkeley CA at Pacific School of Religion in 1982, receiving his Master of Divinity in 1985. In 1995, Curt obtained his Doctor of Ministry at Claremont School of Theology.

For the past 37 years, Curt has been using a combination of his theatrical and theological training to craft biblical monologues, "first-person sermons" he calls them - taking on the persona of someone from within the biblical narrative, and telling a piece of the Advent/Christmas and Lent/Palm Sunday/Easter story through their eyes.

Curt and his wife of 46 years, Linda, are semi-retired and living in Cedar Rapids IA - not far from their 2 children and 3 grandchildren.
