Angie Bird

When my daughter was in elementary school, she confided in me, that a group of girls was bullying her. As I was helping her work through it, I was inspired to write a poem, which became the text of the Glitter Bird book. I shared it with my daughter, because I wanted her to know in her own heart that she is amazing. I asked her if she wanted to share the message and work on turning it into a book. It took a couple of years to bring it to publication and it truly warms my heart to have something beautiful come from something so difficult.

I am located in the Memphis, TN area. I am continually writing and looking at ideas for next books.
