David M Johnson

Dave Johnson was born and raised in Kalamazoo, MI the 10th of 13 children. He married Lori Young in 1987, and together they raised six kids. They have 3 grandchildren, with more on the way! Dave spent 25 years in ministry, first as a Youth Pastor, and most recently as Teaching Pastor of Kalamazoo Community Church where he served for more than 23 years before stepping down in 2023.

Now he is focused on writing and running a YouTube page, Wandering Pastor. In the summer months, he operates a healthy food truck, The Fresh Connection.

Dave has a love for the outdoors, gardening, sunsets on the Lake Michigan shore, and the Detroit Lions.

Dave is a born-again Christian, and has a passion to help others come to know God through vibrant faith in Jesus, and to experience Full Life that Jesus gives.
