I have been many things in my life. A co-worker once called me a dilettante (I left that job -- didn't like it anyway).
Now I've found my forever-job, as an author and amateur historian. It incorporates the things I learned as a stage-tv-film drone, tests my proficiency as a former project manager, and challenges me to become a marketer (something I never wanted to be, but you can't have everything). Best of all, it lets me indulge my love-affair with history and explore people's stories -- famous, and otherwise.
I harbour a tender love for physical books, and share my home with far too many of them, but I can't bear to give any up. When I die, I want to haunt a particular, iconic Oxford bookshop, to spend eternity amongst beautiful, beloved books.
