Peter Biles is Assistant Professor of Creative Writing and English at Oklahoma Baptist University and the author of several novels and short story collections, including What the Tree Saw, Last November, Through the Eye of Old Man Kyle, Keep, and Hillbilly Hymn. A prolific essayist and cultural critic, his writing has appeared in Plough, Dappled Things, Inkwell, The Dispatch, and others.
Biles received a B.A. in English Writing from Wheaton College in Illinois and earned an M.F.A. in creative writing (fiction) from Seattle Pacific University. He is currently working toward a PhD in English at Oklahoma State University.
Biles mainly writes speculative fiction and is set to release a science fiction novel, Stylus Mang, and a fantasy novel, The Antarctic Dream, in 2027.
