Jennifer Flint

Jennifer Flint is the author of Wild Egg: A Story of One Woman's Search for Her Childfree Life, a work of women's fiction published by The Unbound Press in 2022. The novel has sold in 14 countries and has been described as "beautiful, brilliant, serious and funny" by Merle Bombardieri, author of The Baby Decision, and "a powerful, page-turning must read" by childfree pioneer Marcia Drut-Davis.

Wild Egg tells the story of one woman's journey from ambivalence to joy — navigating the decision whether to have children, and ultimately choosing a childfree life. It speaks to women who are childfree by choice, childless not by choice, and anyone at midlife questioning what a meaningful life looks like on their own terms.

Before writing Wild Egg, Jennifer spent two decades as an HR Director and leadership coach, working with organisations and individuals navigating change, courage and authenticity. Wild Egg grew out of her own raw and transformative journey — a decade of ambivalence, self-discovery and eventually choosing a joyful childfree life.

Jennifer has appeared on numerous podcasts discussing childfree living, women's identity and midlife, and her protagonist Hollie features in Merle Bombardieri's forthcoming 2026 book on parenthood decision-making.
