Monica Stoltzfus is an avid crafter, award-winning composer of words, coffee-addict, and chaos wrangler. Her debut picture book, The Ripple, received First place by the National Indie Excellence Awards for "Best Inspirational Children's Book.” Her article about parenting during the pandemic appeared in the May '20 issue of Washington Family Magazine. When not writing or hands down in the messy middle of her next DIY project, she can be found watching a Hallmark movie marathon.
In a prior life, she was privileged to be a Kindergarten teacher for Maryland’s MCPS for ten years, where reading books and writing stories ran wild.
She currently lives in Northern Virginia with her four fearless daughters and compassionate husband. To stay updated on her journey of motherhood mayhem and faith-filled stories, check out her blog, www.justcomposeyourself.com.
