Li Zhang

Li Zhang is an award-winning illustrator originally from Jiangsu Province in China, working based in New York. Drawing on a whole range of influences from pop artists like David Hockney through to traditional Chinese painting, she has forged her own individual approach to painting and loves experimenting with perspective and geometry. She has illustrated for publications and magazines, companies including Microsoft, Washington Post, Meredith, Alber Whitman publishing, Welbeck Publishing and many more. Her children's books include She's on the Money (Albert Whitman, 2020) and Islands: Explore the World's Most Unique Places (Welbeck, 2022).
