Teddi Daniels lives in North Carolina with her human family and several rescued dogs, cats, chickens and even bees!
She is passionate about organic gardening and has a wide variety of things growing in her yard - including some crazy plants like a quince tree ... but her favorite food is chocolate.
Teddi used to live in Europe and speaks four languages - English, French, German and Norwegian - and has just started learning American Sign Language.
She also trains in taekwondo with her son, and is currently a second degree decided black belt. Her favorite lesson learned from many years of taekwondo training is: "Fall down seven times, stand up eight."
'Saving Suzie Q' is Teddi's first book. It is written for young children and shares the values of kindness, hope and survival. The story also teaches children how they have the power to 'do' things to help animals live better and happier lives. It is actually the true story of her family's puppy and her first seven months of life!
