Steven L. Barr

Steven L. Barr is the leader of CM THRIVE, a faith-based mentoring network that empowers young Disney Cast Members—those who work for The Disney Parks and Resorts around the world—to flourish in life, career, and purpose.

A recognized cultural futurist and Kingdom “Imagineer,” Steven draws from more than 30 years of ministry experience pioneering new and innovative Kingdom expressions among those who are critical of religion, conflicted about faith, and confused by Christians. Through what he calls Creative Simplicity, he has cultivated hundreds of meaningful friendships with those who have never set foot in a church but still long for meaning, belonging, and hope.

Whether mentoring a young person over coffee, hosting international Disney Cast Members around his dinner table, or connecting with someone on the other side of the world via Zoom, Steven’s passion is to inspire a new generation of dreamers and doers to shape culture with Jesus-led wisdom, creativity, and hope—bringing light to the overlooked places where traditional systems and structures often fall short.

Steven also leads CAST MEMBER CHURCH in Orlando, Florida, and Paris, France.
