April Short

April Short is an educator and author. She has a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Leadership. Mrs. Short desires to help early learners succeed. Her books help preschoolers and kindergarteners enhance their fine motor (coloring and tracing), social (communicating to adults what letter/number is on each page), and cognitive development skills (retaining what has been learned in the books).

As an educator, she understands the challenges of trying to help each child succeed. Therefore, including educators in her published book collection was necessary. Her Prayer and Reflection Journal for Educators includes scripture readings to help educators and teachers reflect on their day and the opportunity for them to write prayers. She also understands that parents and other community members need encouragement as they are on this Christian journey. My Me Time with God is a journal catered to teenage girls and women to log how they spend time with God and include their daily prayers. There are more children's books and journals to come soon.
