Christopher D. Johnson

Christopher Dyer Johnson is a professor of English at Francis Marion University, where he holds the distinctions of the Loren Mason Distinguished Professor and Trustees Research Scholar. Dr. Johnson specializes in eighteenth century British literature with an emphasis on the writings of Sarah Fielding and Samuel Richardson. He is the author of three books, numerous articles and essays, and is currently the editor of a new publication, Carolina Currents, available 2023. When he is not teaching, writing, or editing, Dr. Johnson spends time hiking in the mountains of Western North Carolina.
