It's been my dream for a long time to write a book and now my first one is on Amazon. I felt compelled to write an account of my life experiences of living with autism after decades of wondering why I felt so different from other people and was unable to join in. When I was diagnosed with ASD at the age of 46, I read numerous books on autism and in particular other books written by adults who were diagnosed late in life. So I decided to write my own! I hope to write more books in the future, perhaps honing in on certain aspects of my autism such as my experiences in the workplace for example, and exploring it in more detail whereas my first book "Autism & Me" is an account of my life in general. I'm very creative and an original thinker. I love animals, gardening, homemaking and reading. I have a 12 year old daughter who is very similar to me in many ways
