Christopher V. Mirus

Christopher V. Mirus is associate professor of philosophy at the University of Dallas.

As an Aristotle scholar, he cultivates an "integrative dialectical approach" to the extant corpus, searching for the unity of thought that Aristotle pursued through the series of dialectical investigations that have come down to us.

As a philosopher, he pursues the integration of core Aristotelian, Platonic, and Thomistic insights with the methods and discoveries of modern natural science, the trenchant probing of experience by phenomenology, and the unlooked-for gifts to understanding offered by an adequate theology.

Chris holds a doctorate in history and philosophy of science from the University of Notre Dame.
