KARL JOHNSON

Dr. Karl Johnson is Chair of The Africana Studies Program at Ramapo College of New Jersey. His expertise is within: 1) Medieval African Civilizations; 2) The African American U.S. History of popular culture and politics and the treatment of people of Color in America; 3) Expert on U.S. Relations toward Sub-Saharan Africa and 4) Expert on Rap/Hip Hop cultural transfer from Black Americans to Africa and its Diaspora.
