Pretty Nerd Publishing (trademark pending) is a sole proprietorship founded by me, Dr. Ariel Sylvester, Ed.D. in 2022. From this company I self-published the 12 books I've written in 2022. Prior to becoming an author and publisher, I was an early childhood educator with Chicago Public Schools. I am Chicago born and raised and recently graduated with my doctorate in early childhood education. My focus is to help break poverty cycles for single-mother college students and their children, and create and maintain cycles of educational attainment.
