Mara Lucas

Mara Lucas is a writer and educator who currently calls the beautiful city of Lisbon her home. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring Lisbon's many hidden corners, indulging in local cuisine, and taking day trips to nearby beaches and towns.

Her true passion, however, lies in educating young people about topics that are important to them. Mara hopes to inspire and empower young people through honest insights into topics such as body changes, relationships, and self-esteem. She knows that these years can be tough, but she also knows that with the right support, young people can thrive.

She is the author of Puberty for Preteen Boys Ages 9-12, in which she tackles the tough topics that preteen boys need to know about, from shaving and body odor to erections and wet dreams in an age-appropriate and engaging way.
