Judith Clayton Van

Judith Clayton Van grew up on a horse ranch in Oregon, granddaughter of a famous U of O sports figure, daughter of 1954's World Champion Trick Rider, and cousin to the pioneers of the Pacific Northwest timber industry. She owned nightclubs, managed entertainment venues, studied at the U of O, completed a BFA in Studio Art and an MFA in Creative Writing at Arizona State University. Judith was a professor of English, Director of Henry Wood Gallery, Fiction Editor or Hayden's Ferry review, Art Editor at Superstition Review, and a juried literary artist with the Arizona Commission on the Arts.
