B. John Burns

B. John Burns is an obscure Iowa songwriter celebrating his Golden Jubilee in 2022. Since September 1972, John has written approximately 5,000 songs. He has appeared in 25 states, and continues to perform his tunes on piano, guitar and ukulele.

To put food on the table, he has worked as a grill cook, a bank bookkeeper, a stereo salesman, a Pinkerton guard, a criminal defense attorney, a bank messenger, a published writer, a martial arts instructor, a political organizer, a paid actor and a busboy.
