The Centurion Way was written for new Christians or for those that desire to explore their faith from a different perspective. The main focus of this book is the gospel of the Kingdom of God and how this impacts our worldview. I also cover a lot basics about scriptural truth to help provide a basic grounding in the Christian faith. This book was written in a conversational style and was intended to be a book not just to be studied, but also one to be enjoyed. This book will serve well as a study for an individual or for a study for a small group, house church, or in an organic church setting.
The author resides in Columbia TN with his wife of 45 years, his feline associates, a border collie, and a bunch of chickens. I am a father of two, and a grandfather of six granddaughters. My initial career was as member of the US Navy, initially as an enlisted and then retiring from the officer ranks in 2002 as a Commander. Since that time in 2002, I have been employed in the information technology industry in the areas of project management, program management, and quality assurance. My hobbies are reading, writing, weightlifting, field botany, bird watching, playing disc golf, and riding my Goldwing with my wife. Being a devoted introvert, I enjoy quiet time on our porch with a book in hand and a cat in my lap.
