Dr. Brent Saathoff

Dr. Brent Saathoff serves as an overseer for four growing churches in San Antonio, Texas. He is the lead pastor of CityChurch, a dynamic church focused on reaching the unchurched and helping them to be- lieve and thrive in Jesus. Dr. Saathoff helped lead a thriving church to plant two more thriving churches, and he launched a “church in a bar” that continues to grow.

Dr. Saathoff has earned master’s degrees in Divinity and Theology, as well as a doctorate in Ministry. He has served as an adjunct professor at the Grace School of Theology, and he taught expository preaching at the New Life Bible College in Moscow.

To date, he has preached or taught in nine countries outside the U.S. He has led pastors’ conferences to train pastors from Liberia, Ar- menia, and Iran, and he spoke to tens of thousands of pastors around the world through the Christian Leaders Fellowship international ministry via an online training conference.

Dr. Saathoff serves on the board of directors for Sammy Tippit Ministries, an international ministry reaching and discipling people in multiple countries and thirteen languages. He also helped to establish a nonprofit called Liberia Now that brings holistic help to this impoverished nation in West Africa, and he serves on its board of directors.
