Joshua Womack

Hi there! My name is Josh Womack and I am a copywriter and author living in Cleveland, Ohio with my wife Lauren, and our dog, Dori.

I have been a copywriter for eight years at Ninety6, Progressive Insurance’s in- house ad agency. Before that, I was a part-time stand-up comedian, wannabe pro wrestler, and speechwriter.

In 2022, I published my first book, I’m not a copywriter, but …: Lessons Learned from a Late Bloomer. The book was inspired by copywriting books like Luke Sullivan’s Hey Whipple Squeeze This, and Thomas Kemeny’s Junior. But perhaps my greatest inspiration for writing my first book was when my dad gave me a copy of Steven Pressfield’s The War of Art. The chapters were short, the sentences were clear and the book left an impact.
