Tory Haggerty

Tory Haggerty started his banking career at the height of the banking crisis in 2009 as a federal bank examiner with the FDIC. He was commissioned as a federal bank examiner and participated on nearly 100 regulatory examinations. After working for a few regional and national banks in compliance and audit roles, he started his own consulting company in 2017. He has been an industry leader in fair lending through teaching, writing, and auditing banks across the country. In 2020, he launched the nation’s first commercially available fair lending school and created the Fair Lending Expert certification program. Tory is also a retired Air Force officer. He spent 20 years in the military between active duty and the Air National Guard. He has earned 3 college degrees including an MBA and 5 industry banking certifications.
