Jack Shumate

Jack Shumate has spent over 35 years in ministry. Jack has pastored in both small and large churches and ministered to youth, young adults and adults. Currently he is serving as one of the senior leaders at The Loft in Oregon City, Oregon. Jack has a desire to see churches grow healthy and not just grow numerically. Jack believes it’s not about the size of your church, ministry or following, but it’s about the size of your influence. Raise up big people and not just big ministries. At one time, Jack was a pastor at one of the fastest growing churches in the nation, with over five hundred home churches in the city of Portland, Oregon. Today Jack and his wife Shelly live on two acres in the beautiful Mount Hood foothills of Oregon. Jack and Shelly have six grown children and one grandson. Jack has a strong call and desire to come alongside pastors and leaders to help mentor and encourage them to get healthy in every area of their lives.
