Matt Neese

Matt Neese is the founding pastor of Wellspring.Live, a church family based in the Dallas area. He has three key words that guide his life: intimacy, identity, and influence. Every human was created for right intimacy with Father God and their spiritual siblings. From that right intimacy, a person discovers their true identity. When a person knows who they belong to and who they are, then he or she is ready to discover their true purpose, their influence. He often says, "Come home. Discover your identity. Live your destiny." And that has become the mission of Wellspring.Live.

Matt has an insatiable desire to know and experience the Father, to become like the Son, and to be filled and overflowing with the Spirit. Besides being deeply in love with the Lord and the church, Matt loves spending time with his amazing wife and best friend Sako (who truly is the most interesting person in the world), his daughter, and his son. For he and Sako, raising their children to be Kingdom-minded servant-leaders has been a major priority.

Along with all of the above, Matt enjoys traveling to Japan, snowboarding, target shooting, playing drums, hanging out with people, and riding around in his Jeep with his Aussie Rottweiler, Bowie.
