Melissa E. Day

Melissa Day is the debut author of her young adult novel, The Last Traveler. She’s married to her best friend and the mother of two very active toddlers. As a Louisiana native, her true passion is great food, great parties, and good people. Her love for young adult writing was inspired by all of the badass female characters she read in YA books as a teenager. She hopes to write characters and stories that represent women, LGBTQ+, and culturally diverse communities well, because she believes every young reader deserves to see themselves in the stories they read.
