The Team at LifeSupport Resources

LifeSupport Resources is a collaborative effort from Five Stone Media. Our team had the opportunity to meet and interview dozens of generous survivors who want to use their stories to help others. These stories illustrate the truth that grief is a universal emotion and that the life of every Christian will include suffering. Five Stone Media is a story-based non-profit organization formed in 2007, and uses 4 words to describe their mission: Story, Hope, Healing, and Change.

ABOUT THE AUTHORS

Jon Watje is a native of Minneapolis, Minnesota. He received his degree in Mass Communication/Journalism from Oklahoma Christian University. He worked as a journalist in Oklahoma City where he became an editor of two newspapers for 10 years. Jon's work received awards from the Oklahoma Press Association for news writing, feature writing and photography. Jon moved back to Minnesota where he now lives with his wife and son. He joined Five Stone Media in 2019 and enjoys writing stories about people who have overcome trauma and grief.

Lee Bailey-Seiler serves as the Operations Director for Five Stone Media and Chief Curriculum Developer for LifeSupport. Having experienced transformation from addiction through a Christ-centered recovery ministry, Lee knows firsthand that hopelessness is overcome when survivors share their stories of struggle and redemption. Lee and his wife live in Minnesota and have four grown children.

Steven Johnson serves as the Executive Director and co-founder of Five Stone Media. Steve is an Emmy-award winning producer who left the broadcast world in order to dedicate his time to the work of Five Stone Media. Steve had the honor of interviewing many of the survivors featured in this book. He lives in Minnesota with his wife, and has four grown children.
