Katie is a speaker, author, and podcaster that empowers people to harness creativity and define their values to bring their purpose to life.

The last several years have shifted in ways that have caused countless people to lose their spark. The passion people once had has become dulled by habits and assumptions. They are ready to be inspired, empowered, and recommitted to a career that aligns with their values and purpose. Through her witty humor and empathetic storytelling Katie moves people from feeling stuck and unmotivated to inspired and empowered.

Katie’s passion and understanding of purpose begin early in her career as a Cast Member within The Walt Disney Company. It was there that she established a philosophy that impactful organizations are rooted in alignment of values and behaviors. Those ignite the purpose through intentional connections, creativity, and celebration; or what she refers to as the ABCs.

In addition to writing, Katie is a keynote speaker and the host of One Spark Stories podcast. Her eternal curiosity and appreciation for childlike wonder has contributed to her extensive knowledge through self-taught and formal education. She is an eternal student that has earned a BA in Communication, MEd, MedL, while also working as an educator and consultant in K – 12 classrooms and higher education. She is now the founder and Chief Engagement Officer for One Spark Solutions, where she provides innovative advisory services.

Katie lives in southwest Ohio with her husband Joe, their children, JJ and Lily, and their fur baby Olaf.
