Born in Marquette, Michigan, on the Upper Peninsula along Lake Superior shores. Spent some childhood years in the small township of Negaunee, MI. A loving grandmother raised him because of the death of his mother when he was at the age of fourteen months old. His father wasn't in the picture for the first several years of his childhood. Due to family situations, he joined the United States Army very shortly after his junior year of high school. Retired from the United States Military after serving twenty-three years as a highly distinguished "combat" veteran, including being a recipient of the Bronze Star. He joined the ranks of law enforcement for several years while attending college for his bachelor's degree and his master's degree in business. Married to his loving wife, Kathy, for 32 years. Perry has had an amazing business, sales, and educational career where he found himself as a Business Manager/Sales Developer for 39 Snap On Tool Franchisee's, a Leadership Devlopment Office for nineteen automotive facilities, a small business owner for several years servicing 40 Chevron stores per month, and adjunct instructor for Hamilton College, a substitute teacher, and a National Sales Manager, Keynote Speaker, and an Author. He recently retired from corporate America and has now joined the ranks as a published writer/author, Keynote Speaker, workshop facilitator, and continues to work on several more books in fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and memoirs. He travels around the nation delivering impactful presentations on various topics to include common sense, servant leadership, attitude adjustment influencers, emotional intelligence, and how to strengthen your team's core. He loves his family, outdoor activities in boating, fishing, jet skiing, and lazy days just floating and having fun.
