Victor Idem

Victor Emmanuel is a creative writer who specializes in writing fictional stories and plays about contemporary issues within the African society bordering on family, relationships and patriarchy.

His short story "The Elders' Viewpoint' won a commendation and the prize money from an African in the 2002 Commonwealth Short Story competition.

He ran a monthly short story competition in 2014 on his blog, www.africanstorytellers.blogspot.com where young African writers were encouraged and rewarded with prize monies for their contributions.

His two published novels on paperback are 'A Night Bus to Aba' (2005) and 'Portrait of Papa Kante' (2011). The books have been published online on the okadabooks.com bookstore.

'Everyday A Widow' (2022) is his first published work on Amazon.com

His current passion is researching about the Blockchain, NFTs and the Web 3.0.
