With a love for Fantasy and years of experience in Martial Arts, Luke decided at age 35 to trade in his office life to return to education and explore his passions.
His initial degree was in photography, however, after running a popular blog, he soon discovered his passion for writing.
Although he has always had a love for fantasy and spent many of his childhood days playing Dungeons and Dragons, he found that sometimes the fantasy genre can be riddled with over-complex descriptions, too many characters, and periods of reading that went on and on. And so Luke went about writing his first fantasy, The Samurai, with the plan of creating fast-paced adventures, in fantasy worlds, with fewer, more complex characters that are easy to follow.
He believes the fantasy genre should be more accessible, and characters should have more time to grow and become your best friend or your arch enemy, they should make you cry, smile, and gasp.
The Samurai is his first, and the next two of the trilogy are being written as you read, along with another Viking based fantasy.
