Kevin is a clinical psychologist and therapist who lives by the water in Port Macquarie on the East Coast of Australia, with his husband and their three dogs. Originally from Ireland, Kevin spent nine years in training to be a priest in the Roman Catholic Church, seven of those in the Legionaries of Christ, led by the now notorious Marcial Maciel who was removed from public life by Pope Benedict after it was revealed that he was a serial paedophile. After training as a clinical psychologist in the UK, Kevin moved to Australia in 1994, and worked extensively with a number of groups including offenders and ex-offenders, victims of crime, asylum seekers, refugees and the LGBQIT+ communities. Apart from his research publications, Kevin is the co-editor of Groupwork in Australia, also available on Amazon. He is currently preparing the next instalment of his memoir, due for release later this year.
