Anna Taylor

Anna Taylor grew up in Portland, Oregon and currently resides there. She graduated from Portland Community College with her Associates in General Studies. She is passionate about advocating for individuals with disabilities in her community. During Anna's elementary school years, there weren't a lot of books about disabilities.

While researching this subject, Anna realized that there are many more books about all kinds of disabilities. However, she noticed that most were seemingly written by able-bodied people. Anna wanted to share her unique perspective by giving readers a view from her wheelchair.

In the last year Anna has partisapated in a community fair a church camp and book fair. She has practiced her personal selling skills as well as meeting community members.

In her free time, when Anna is not writing, she makes hats for the homeless. She joined an outreach group that distributes them during the winter months.
