Ally Kelly

Ally (Allison) Kelly is a writer living in eastern Connecticut, USA, is owned by her orange cat, Merlin, and works part time in retail. Ally has been writing stories since she was young, and has grown fond of the fantasy genre over the years. She especially enjoys writing stories with dragons and fairies in them. In 2016, Ally created an online writing community called Worldsmyths, which led to establishing a non-profit publishing company that has since published multiple short story collections, a few of which Ally is published in.

Thorns Among Shadows is Ally's first official publication as an indie author, and her first fairytale retelling. She has thoroughly enjoyed writing this book, and is currently working on the first book in a spin-off trilogy, which she plans to release in 2027.
