Georgia Mitchell

Georgia Mitchell is a Jamaican born poet and author who migrated to the United States in her adolescent years. Georgia studied at Overbrook High School, Broward College and Liberty University.

She is the youngest daughter of Robert and Daphne Mitchell. Georgia cultivates and enjoys a deep personal relationship with God. She has served the church in both ministerial and administrative capacities.

Georgia is passionate about the arts and enjoys travel. From her days as a youth she has allowed her imagination to take her on many trips, many of which are chronicled in various black and white composition books.

Her poem "Experience Africa" appears in an anthology. It was penned as Norma Kemp. She authored Quietude, her first published poetic collection and now has several books to her credit. She is the independent publisher and owner of Sweet Mango Publishing.
