Jennifer Murphy

I had a beautiful childhood filled with many memories of great stories and family gatherings. My Father was a great storyteller and had a love of Banjo Patterson poetry. He would recite these poems to my siblings and I when we were young and then again to his grandchildren as they grew up. I come from a family of artists anywhere from music to contemporary art and pottery. My love of storytelling flourished when my children were young. I would write stories daily and read them to my children when they returned home from school. My Mother Anne Price and I have recently started writing and illustrating children's picture books. We hope to see them on the shelves very soon. We enjoy the concept of writing about our memories as children and incorporating this into quirky fun loving stories for children. We currently have three picture books in the process of being developed.
