Born in Sussex, England. Graduate of the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. Career spent working on short-term development projects in over 30 countries worldwide including China, North Korea, Iran, Iraq, Sudan, Albania, Liberia, Yemen and many more. Interests include trekking, backpacking and travel.
