Peter Ritter

Peter Ritter was born in Zittau in 1966.

When he was still at school, he once wrote a short story, and that was it for now.

Already as a child he was interested in electronics, so this became his profession.

He became a radio mechanic.

The years came and went. He spent a lot of time in the mountains, riding motorbikes and hiking...

For 40 years he had almost nothing to do with literature.

In the meantime he had ended up in the beautiful Allgäu.

At some point he had the idea of ​​writing a poem for his dog "Ozzy".

It's easy to do. This is followed by a few poems about politicians, the flood disaster, pensions, the Allgäu, the forest, the Alps and a little Christmas story.

He enjoyed it. At some point he said, just for fun, I'm writing a book - the revenge of the bats with reference to Corona.

A few months later, while hiking, he came up with a few ideas for this book and recorded them on his cell phone. Actually, it was just the beginning, the theme, a rough process and the end of the story, although the latter has changed a lot. And so he began to write. Revenge seemed a bit too much for him and so "The Bats' Revenge" became the dystopia "The Last Children: Fighting the End".
