Monica Louzon

Monica Louzon (she/her) is a queer writer, translator, and editor. Her stories, poems, translations, and essays have been published in 6 different countries by 35 different magazines and anthologies, including Apex Magazine, Oh Reader Magazine, Paranoid Tree, Star*Line, and more. Monica's story "9 Dystopias" was a Best Microfiction 2023 winner, and her poetry has been nominated for the Dwarf Stars Award. She was Acquiring Editor for the dark fiction magazine The Dread Machine (2020 - 2023), Founding Editor of the MOSF Journal of Science Fiction (2015 - 2017), and has co-edited three anthologies of speculative fiction.
