Hi I'm Melissa,

I have always dreamed of writing for children. The thought was always on the back burner, one day a friend encouraged me to follow that dream and here we are.

I am a yogi (not always the best at it) I love to knit. I am an avid reader- especially of romance novels. I enjoy a good cup of coffee and the occasional cookie or baked good to go along with it. Why not right- you got to have some guilty pleasures. Big fan of the beach and the warm weather. I am currently learning Spanish, in the hope that one day I might travel to Mexico.

I believe in the power of positivity and the idea what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Just like Yoda said "do or do not there is no try"
