Suma K. Gopal

Suma Gopal is an HR leader, with 23 years’ experience working in semiconductor, renewable energy, HR consultancy, and DTH industries. In her role, she focuses predominantly on setting up Learning and Development function, shaping talent development and strengthening leadership pipeline. Being a certified coach, she utilizes her coaching skills in augmenting high performance among people in multinational environments. Suma has keen interest in supporting women’s professional growth and is an ardent advocate of women’s advancement in organizations.

Currently, she heads Learning & Development function at a Multi National Corporation based in the US.

Suma holds a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from the University of Texas at Dallas, Double Bachelors degree (Education and English) and Masters Degree in English Literature. Suma is a speaker, writer and a prolific bilingual poet with many published anthologies.
