Tracy Bannon

Passionate architect! Look, I've been doing this for a long time and I spend my time solving the biggest and strategic challenges facing my sponsors. I am a Senior Principal with MITRE Corporation's Advanced Software Innovation Center and have worked across commercial, state and federal government clients. My specialty is solution and application architecture emphasizing cloud native/for-cloud refactoring, service oriented & API architecture, and DevSecOps. I enjoy working with cloud computing at the edge using appliances too. I'm just as passionate about mentoring and training as I am about architecting sustainable solution ecosystems; I enjoy community and knowledge building with my teams, my clients, and our next generation of technologist by guest lecturing at universities. The ability to communicate advanced technical topics to both stakeholders and technicians has made me a sought after technical leader.

If you're wondering about whether or not I can present... I am a featured speaker at industry events including ATARC Federal DevSecOps Summits, National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), Software Engineering Institute (SEI) SATURN, CloudExpo, CA World, All Day DevOps (ADDO), CA Gov Summit, DevOps Institute Global Skill-up Days, and PMI Global Congress.

I don't just talk the talk, I walk the walk. My experience crosses multiple technologies and platforms. I have a proven ability to lead technical teams and deliver solutions on time and within budget. With over 15 years’ experience with geographically dispersed teams and offshore delivery models, I bring a unique pragmatic perspective. It never hurts to mention that I hold several certifications from Microsoft as well as the SEI’s Software Architecture Professional Certificate, PMP, CSM, and TOGAFv9f.
