Serena Arvayo

Hi! I'm Serena Arvayo. I wrote my first Children's Book 'a Friend like Zeek' inspired by my son with Autism. I am a full-time recruiter, full-time mama and first-time author. I have always had a passion for writing and storytelling. I remember typing up long books and stories on my computer being only 10 years old. I had always wanted to follow my passion of writing and always enjoyed writing long essays and papers in school. If I am passionate about something, I put my whole heart into it and really love and enjoy writing about my passion. My true passion in life is advocating and fighting for my son to be seen, heard, accepted and understood. Writing this children's book came so easy to me and I had a strong passion and desire to bring it to life. I am proud to be his Mother and his voice. I hope to write more and spread more knowledge and awareness with a goal to create a more inclusive world for my son and all those just like my son.
