Alan Denman writes across genres—comedy, horror, and true-life drama—but at the heart of all his novels are characters on transformative journeys. His stories explore self-discovery, facing fear, and the unlocking of hidden potential.

With a strong visual background in film, Alan lived and worked in Los Angeles, where he wrote and directed a feature film. He has taught creative writing across North America, Europe, and the UK, and has written in nearly every narrative form. Now, he is focused on building a rich library of novels and short stories.

Alan lives on a barge on the River Thames with his wife, a CBT therapist, and their eccentric Turkish Van cat, Lucy.
