Joanne Clague

Joanne Clague is the author of two Sheffield-set historical saga trilogies, beginning with the great flood of 1864 in The Ragged Valley, while the second series - The House of Help for Friendless Girls - focuses on a real life Victorian institution. Joanne was born and raised in Sheffield and has had a career as a journalist in the Isle of Man before turning to novel writing.
