Sean R. Foster is an ordained Elder, worship leader, and author from Mathews County, Virginia, with more than thirty years of service in church music and spiritual formation.
Raised at Zion Baptist Church in Cardinal, Virginia, Sean has served as Minister of Music, Worship Team Leader, and Choir Director — mentoring worship leaders and guiding congregations in meaningful, Christ-centered worship across multiple churches, including Restoration Free Gospel Church in Lexington Park, Maryland.
His first book, Consecration in the Refiner’s Fire: A Thirty Day Journey, was born from a devotional he wrote to prepare a worship ministry for a season of consecration. Each of its thirty days guides readers — especially worship leaders and ministry workers — through scripture, prayer, and reflection designed to deepen their relationship with God and purify their hearts for service.
His second book, Walking the Broken Road, is a raw and honest exploration of abandonment, healing, and spiritual warfare. Drawing from his own life and ministry, Sean traces the painful journey from brokenness to restoration, pointing readers toward the transformative power of God’s love and the necessity of authentic community.
Sean believes that those who have been healed by God are called to become healers for others — walking miracles who reach out in their scars to help those still struggling.
Outside of writing and ministry, Sean is devoted to his family, enjoys reading broadly, and is a longtime fan of the Doctor Who series. He remains committed to nurturing both personal relationships and the spiritual growth of all those he serves.
