Jerome C Winslow PhD

From the beginning, Jerome Winslow was gifted with wanderlust and a seemingly insatiable curiosity, so he has moved often, travelled extensively, and he has had many different occupations. He bases his novels on these first-hand experiences.

His 1st novel, "So Many Maybe’s," was set in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the home of the University of Michigan where he went to school. His 2nd book, "The Towers of Tarragon’s" central character is an independent underwater filmmaker, and he also works in a bookstore and a movie theater. Jerome has done all three. In addition, the book is set in the Caribbean islands where Jerome has lived and dived extensively as a diving instructor and dive guide. And his 3rd book, "The Shingwock Cookie War" is set in north central Michigan where Jerome grew up and he currently lives.

He has studied many subjects at several different universities including Cinema Studies at NYU and Oceanography at Michigan. He has a PhD in Global Ecology from Wyoming, and he later was a Professor at Texas Tech University.

Since leaving Texas Tech, he has devoted himself to making underwater films and writing novels.
