W. J. Hendry

W.J.Hendry is an 85 year old first time author who took to writing after the death of his wife in 2021. Bill & Christine were married for nearly fifty-eight years and writing helped to fill in a large lonely gap in his life. Golf was his main hobby for nearly sixty years and he served his local golf club as Social Convenor then Captain. Unfortunately back problems and a dodgy knee have put paid to his golfing days and he is limited to a five hole putting green in his back garden.

His working life was spent with the national telephone service then on to computers and he enjoyed this work 'til being offered early retirement. As an electronics engineer he has always taken a keen interest in science, especially physics, and regrets leaving school early rather than going on university. His knowledge of science has come from reading a large selection of books on the subject for the past fifty years and his main aim is to help de-mystify physics as much as is possible.

He says that he may be getting on in years but feels that there's still a bit of mileage left in him and is currently looking at several options for a new book. Bill thanks you for taking time to read this blog and wishes you good health, much happiness and lots of interesting reading.
