Jerry Carr-Brion

I obtained a BSc in chemistry at the University of Sussex, follow by a PhD in organic chemistry at Queen Mary, University of London. My subsequent career has mainly been in process development, although I also have an interest in natural product chemistry. I worked firstly at PPF/Quest (fragrance chemicals), then at Schering Agrochemicals/ AgrEvo/ Aventis Cropscience (agrochemicals) and lastly at Resolution Chemicals (pharmaceuticals). I am now a freelance writer, proofreader and consultant.

In addition to chemistry, I'm a keen amateur gardener and sometimes write on gardening topics.
