Marisa Gutierrez Capello

Ever since Marisa was a little girl, she always wanted to become a teacher...and she did! She obtained a Master's of Science in Early Childhood General and Special Education with an extension in Bilingual Education. Her passion for working with children and reaching their academic, social and emotional goals has always driven her imagination to keep learning fun and interesting. Understanding that young children learn best with visuals, she combined her passion for education and creativity through her children's picture books. She is also the founder of MGC CREATIVE MIND PRESS where she creates early childhood teacher lesson plan books, children's workbooks, notebooks, sketchbooks and journals. Marisa was born and raised in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York and currently lives in Trumbull, CT.
